We, the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria living in the United Kingdom, have firmly and solemnly resolved to constitute a Community in the United Kingdom, to live in unity and harmony and to provide a constitution to promote internal corporate governance, provide support to members of the Community, extol social and cultural values within the Community, give back to the society and establish for ourselves provision of this constitution
